Dorothy Ann Walker, 74, of Washington, died Friday, June 29, 2001, at Mercy Hospital, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, at the funeral home. Mrs. Walker was born April 10, 1927, in Washington to William and Odessa L. (McNeese) Hotle, She married Thomas Walker, Feb. 14,1948, in Washington. Mrs. Walker graduated from Washington High School and was a member of the United Presbterian Church. She was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper form Mills Motors and Thompson Motors and later for Waconda Soil Services. She owned and operated Dottie's Potpourri for three years. Mrs. Walker is survived by one son, Terry Walker and wife Karyn of Covallis, Ore; two daughters, Bonnie Parriott and husband Cliff of Gainesville, Ga. and Bette Greiner and husband Joe of Washington; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three sisters, Ruth True of Clatskanie, Ore.,Norma Huston of Winfield, and Katherine Ross of Washington;and one brother Keith Hotle. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, in 1982; four brothers, Jacob Hotle, Stanley Hotle, Paul Hotle and Eugene Hotle; and two sisters, Hazel and Virginia.
