I have a James Harvey Laughead who married a Mariah McCleery. They both died in Washington, Iowa. At least two of their sons were born in Washington, Iowa. Actually James' parents Isaac Newton Laughead and Nancy Anderson spent the better part of their married life in Washington where Isaac was pastor of the Presbyterian Church. He died in 1888. I have considerable info on the Laugheads, but I don't have a Godfrey. Isaac Newton Laughead had five children and I don't have complete info on the siblings. I'll be glad to share info.
