Dear Don, Can you tell me if you were allowed to look at the Iowa marriages? I have a marriage for some great great grandparents in 1865 in Washington Co., have written the clerk and the genealogy society to inquire as to if there are marriage applications for that time period. (I have a copy of the marriage) The clerk referred me to the society and the society sent me some information on Harpers in the county but did not answer my question.
