Benn, age 65, obituary published Sept. 30, 1941 and funeral notice published Oct. 1, 1941, both in the Tampa Tribune. "Howard W. Benn, Tampa Real Estate Dealer, Dies at 65 - Howard W. Benn, 65, of 301 E. North st., Tampa real estate broker, died Sunday night at the Tampa hospital after an illness of several months. Mr. Benn was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Kaaba Shrine temple of Davenport, Iowa, before coming to Tampa 16 yearsa ago. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary E. Benn, of Tampa; a son, Howard W. Benn, jr., of Washington, Iowa, three sisters, Mrs. Grace G. Benn, of Los Angeles; Mrs. Charles McCreedy, of Sigourney, Iowa, and Mrs. Frank Wilson, of Wellman, Iowa, and two brothers, W. J. Benn, of Los Angeles, and Irwin L. Benn, of Portland, Ore., and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Wilson Sammon chapel tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock in charge of Rev. E. J. Pendergrass, of the Seminole Heights Methodist church. Burial will be in Myrtle Hill cemetery. Pallbearers will be C. W. Latimer, Ernest King, Isbon Linebaugh, Capt. William Tussey, Fred D.
