I will be coming to Washington County, Iowa the second week in September. I will be there for the Federation of Genealogical Socities Annual Conference in Quad Cities. How far is it from the Quad Cities? Also time? What are the hours and days open for the Washington County Gen. Society and the County Courthouse? I had Vickery and Wilcox relatives in Ainsworth in 1870's and 1880's. Some of them are buried in Ainsworth Cemetery according to a Cemetary Book. I have death certificates from the State.
