Dear Brenda, I have just returned from two days in Washington and Henry Counties, Iowa. Sorry I did not have your request a week earlier. However, It will be VERY helpful to whatever kind soul tries to assist you if you could designate a time frame. The record books in Washington County are in a small back room and, often, a ladder is needed to retrieve ( and return) them. For the record,I found the staff in the Recorder's Office of Washington County courteous and those in Henry County helpful. I made some fair progress with my CUSHMAN and WALKER queries in that area.
