I am not related to Mr. Edmondson and have no further information. David Marshall Edmondson, 76, of Grandview, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine. Born Sep 17, 1925, in Ainsworth, he was the son of Marshall and Omi Funston Edmondson. He was a graduate of Ainsworth High School and served in the Army Air Force where he became disabled. He was a member of the Ainsworth Community church and the American Legion. Survivors include one sister, Margaret Schantz of Grandview and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. Visitation was Friday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family met with friends in the evening. The funeral was at 10 am Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Scott Nesbitt officiating. Burial was in the Oregon Township Cemetery, Ainsworth, with military honors. A memorial has been established for his church.
