Mr. QUINN was born April 7, 1910 in Louisa County, Iowa, the son of Thomas Roy and Pearl BOYD-QUINN. He attended Cotter High School and Standard Diesel School in Los Angeles, California. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Washington and had been retired from farming. He was married June 16, 1940 at St. James Catholic Church to Carrie Joy STUART, who survives. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Wilbur (Irene) ROBY of Muscatine; a nephew, William J. ROBY of California; three aunts, Mrs. Julia METZGER of Davenport, Mrs. Ellen McNALLIE of Pompano Beach, Florida and Mrs. Versa POLAND of Sarcoxie, Missouri; and a number of cousins. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church in Washington with Father Edward J. Shepherd officiated. Altar boys were Mike and Matt QUINN and Tim Elliott. Lina had been in ill health for a number of years but was patient in this affliction. She had received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and found much satisfaction and blessing from The Word of God and the old hymns of the faith. The Radio Ministries of the Radio Bible Class, Family Altar Broadcast and Bible Echoes were a source of Spiritual Blessing. She faithfully attended the church services as long as her health permitted. She leaves to mourn her passing one sister, Bertha of Columbus Junction, with whom she shared nearly 75 years of home life, one brother, Charles of Winfield and a number of other relatives and friends. The Zehr Funeral Home of Wayland was in charge of the memorial service on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. W. LaRoy Anderson, Pastor of the Independent Bible Church of Columbus Junction, Iowa officiated and the interment was in the Eicher Cemetery. Mr. YODER was a member of the West Union Mennonite Church and the Johnson County Dairy Testing Association. Mr. YODER loved being on the farm tending to his dairy cattle, and it was especially meaningful for him to help with this year's harvest. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Renae YODER of Goshen, Ind., two sons, Marlow YODER and wife Jenny of Kalona and Karten YODER and wife Jessica of North English; three grandchildren; and four brothers, Carroll D.
