Rebecca, go to Password Central, http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ and request a report of all the lists you are subbed to. You'll get a nice list with clickable links for unsubbing -- be sure the single word unsubscribe is both subject and the only message. Send them all, and save those emails in your Sent mail folder. When you return, you can just r-use those emails, removing the "un" from each subject and message, and send to re-subscribe. If this doesn't work for any list in particular, contact the listowner directly, by writing Listname-Admin@rootsweb.com, where Listname is the actual name of the list, no -L, no -D.
