Thomas Long was born in Fairfield, Ohio on May 22, 1838. His parents were John Long and Mary LeFevre. Thomas was a veteran of the civil war. He died in June, 1917 in North Dakota. I do not know anything about Thomas's siblings and very little about his parents. After leaving Ohio they moved to Delavan, Illinois, but I don't know what happened to them after that. John was born in Fairfield in about 1812 and Mary in Fairfield about 1816. Thomas and Louisa had 6 children: Thomas (who died as an infant), Viola, Franklin, Clara, Lura and Emma. I hope this helps.
