many of those in Warren Co were also from Barbour and Harrison Co WV. McIntosh were from WV. They seemed to have moved enmass in teh 1850s. Perhaps to avoid a seeming coming war? Or was it just that the Iowa territory had opened up and land was getting harder to come by in WV. New Virginia IA aws founded by these WV folks. I dopn't know about shelby Co IN. It would be interesting to compare.
