Read, of Warren Co, IA, who died there May 31st 1907. I know it was mentioned in an 1908 History of Warren Co, IA, that his grandfather, also named John Read, fought in the Revolutionary War in Virginia. I would like to know where in Virginia this man lived, served, and died. I am a descendant of John B. Read's sister, Matilda.
