    1. Hollings/Earle-Spring Hill
    2. Hello! My g-grandparents, Thomas and Margaret Hollings, immigrated to Warren County around 1875 from England. Their son, Alex, married Nora Belle McGlothlen. Margaret also had children from a previous marriage to Henry Earle: John, Robert, Harry, Sid, Annie, Katie Any information, especially on Thomas Hollings, would be most appreciated. He disappeared (murdered?) in 1875 while going to Indianola to deposit money. His horse was found by the Middle River, but his body was never discovered! I'm happy to share the information I've collected on the Earle family. My father, Carroll Hollings, was born and raised in Spring Hill and my grandparents (Alex and Nora) remained in the town until the late 1950's. They lived down the road from the Church, which no longer stands. Thanks much and good luck to everyone! Best Wishes, Vicki Stinson Merriam, Kansas

    1. PEEry or PERry
    2. rizerk
    3. Elias Watson PEEry was born 15 Nov 1833 in West Virginia. He married Harriet E. about 1899, not sure if in W. Vir or Iowa. Both Harriet and Elias are buried, with a tombstone that seems to spell the name as PeRry in the Indianola IOOF cemetery in Warren Co., Iowa. Elias died 28 Sep 1925 and Harries 23 Jan 1911. Did they have any children? I believe that Elias' brother, James S. Peery also moved to Warren Co. The name of James' wife was Maggie. Does anyone know about them?? Thank you, Kathleen Rizer

    1. surname: Watrous
    2. A Civil War soldier, Albert B. WATROUS, belonged to the 15th Iowa Inf. Company G. I am trying to find additional information on him. (company G is represented by men from Warren and Marion counties) Does anyone know of Watrous's living in Warren County during the 1800's? I believe my g-grandmother, Mary Watrous Rupp may be his sister. Mary died in Montgomery County, Iowa in 1885. Thanks for any help. Nicky Wash. State
