He b. Kentucky, died in Warren Co. Iowa. She b. Penn., died Warren County. Supposedly pioneers of the area, arrriving in 1854. Had 11 children, at least 10 of which have descendants, so I know there are lots of you out there! Above surnames represent the children's spouses. Children were, in birth order, John Taylor Morris; William E. Morris; Nancy O. Catherine Morris; Joseph M. Morris; Mary Ellen Morris; Louisa Jane Morris; Isabelle Morris; James Irvin Morris (my line); Amanda Elizabeth Morris; Sarah Melissa Morris; and Anna Emma Moris. He was marr. to a Vinnie McClintic. I "think" that he is the son of my great grandmother, Abigail Jane Denning Huff, and the brother to James D. Huff, my grandfather. I've seen his name listed as Immanuel, Emanuel, and Manuel A. Huff also....his middle name "could have" been Andrew???? More important is his mother, Abigail Jane (Denning) Huff. I know that she died 6 Oct. 1881 from info in a "Huff vs Huff" court record and I read somewhere else that she died in Iowa. I'm hopeing that it was Warren County since this where her son was. I'm up against that ole "brick wall" and I hope someone can help me. Thank you.

IA...there appear to be at least a dozen or more and one of them is mine, but I can't figure out which one it is. William Moore married Nancy WILEY in PA or OH abt 1820 and had several children who came to Warren Co. IA but I don't know if William came too. There are other WILEY families around the area, but I cannot connect them....anyone out there working with MOORE? (she said begging).

I am a direct descendant of Joseph Bartholomew, George Marston Bartholomew's brother. Both Joseph and George were raised by their grandfather, Gen. Joseph Bartholomew. Joseph left home while Gen. Joseph still lived in Clark Co., IN, but George went with the General to McLean County, IL, where he met and married his wife, Mary Flesher. Joseph went with a family by the name of Benson to Missouri and then to Hancock County, IL. He married one of the Benson daughters by the name of Polly, and eventually migrated to Pottawattamie Co. IA and later central Utah in l852. He named one his sons after his brother, George, with whom I believe he was very close and fond of even though they were always separated by great distances after Joseph went west. I have a great deal of information about George's children, grandchildren, and in some cases, great grandchildren, many of whom coninued to reside in WARREN and Polk Counties after they married. But I would like to verify dates, spouses, birth, marriage, death and burial locations, and children. Any information I have regarding George's ancestors or descendants is available to you.
