Jameson on 31 Oct 1866 George Theunissian married Mary Cogley on 6 Nov 1889 C.J. Tennyson married Catherine Schmitz on 2 Jan 1906 Cornelius H. Tennyson married Alice Renfrew on 26 Feb 1908 J.H. Tennyson married Cordelia Chenowith on 27 Oct 1897 William H. Tennyson married Anna Kincaid on 14 Feb 1906 Anna Tennyson married Andrew Lames on 26 Jan 1898 Hannah Tennyson married Samuel Leeling on 24 Set 1878 Katie Tennyson married David Marsh on 28 Sep 1897. >From Wapello county WPA records: Theunissan, Henry, 1843-1913 Theunissan, John, 1866-1921 Theunissan, Joseph, 1868-1911 Tennyson, Catherine 1877-1923 Tennyson, Dora (Mrs. John), died May 6, 1907 aged 66 Tennyson, John. died August 1, 1908 aged 75 All the above are buried in Calvary cemetery. Tennyson, Cordelia, 1874 - February 22, 1907 buried in Ottumwa cemetery. The fact that the Tennyson/Theunissan families are buried in Calvary would indicate that they were Catholic and, therefore, there may be additional information located in the records of St. Mary's Catholic Church or one of the other Catholic churches in Ottumwa. If you would contact Mary Lannigan, who is a frequent contributor to this board, she has the records of St. Mary's and would probably be more than happy to do a look-up for you. There are Tennyson family members still located in Ottumwa. They are a very well-known family. I don't know if they have done any genealogical work, but I don't think they would care if you contacted them and asked. *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice.
