C.J. and William. I do find a marriage record for them as follows: Sylvanus DeHart married Alice M. Furgison on 26 May 1890. My best guess is that the correct spelling of Alice's name should be Ferguson. Have not done any checking to determine that. Do find Sylvanus in the 1910 Federal census as follows: 4th Ward, Ottumwa, Wapello county, Iowa Dehart, S., head, aged 45, born Iowa, widowed Dehart, Bessie, dau, aged 10, born Indiana Dehart, Everett, son, aged 6, born Indiana I did find them in the 1900 Federal census as follows: 2nd Ward, Gas City, Grant County, Indiana Dehart, Sylvanus, head, born Nov 1865, Iowa Dehart, Alice M., wife, born Oct 1869, born Indiana Dehart, Myrtle, dau, born Jul 1892, born Iowa Dehart, Beatrice, dau, born Jan 194, born Iowa Dehart, Beulea, dau, born Aug 1897, born Indiana My best guess is that Alice might have died in Grant county. Hope some of this helps. *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice.
