They were married 27 FEB 1862 and had at least one child named James (or perhaps John). I can't find them in the 1880 census, but their son may have been farming in Marion Twp., Davis County, Iowa at that time. He was only 17. I think their son may have lived with his grandparents, Samuel and Margaret Owen in Wapello County before that time. What happened to James and Elizabeth? I'm sorry I don't have more specific information. Elizabeth was born in Clay County, IN in about 1843. Any help would be greatly welcomed.
