    3. Based on some pure speculation, I am guessing the 1st Congressional District. That was the district that Fairfield was in during that period. The representative from the 1st district was James Falconer Wilson who died in Fairfield in 1895 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Bill Hansen Ottumwa, Iowa ----- Original Message ----- From: <JosephCWright@cs.com> To: <IAWAPELL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, April 12, 2003 9:58 AM Subject: [IAWAPELL] Congressional District Does SKS on the list know how I could find out which congressional district Ottumwa and Keokuk Township were in 1863-1865? ( I imagine they would be the same.) Draft records for the Civil War were kept by Congressional District. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
