This family owned a shoe repair shop in Ottumwa. Vera BARTAHUK was also a Russian immigrant and was the wife of Fred PPOCHUCK. There are several spellings as you can see.Vera had a brother Vincent BARTASHUK.The POPCHUCK family attended St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ottumwa. Nellin POPCHUCK appears in the death records of St. Mary's. She is buried in Calvary Cemetery and has a thombstone. She was the twin sister of Helen.There is some confusion as to birth and death dates. If anybody can help, please post directly to this board.
