HARTWELL, age 35, and Miss Emma SMITH, age 26. Emma was the daughter of Alma and Christiana (FOREMAN) SMITH. There was a daughter, Pansy, born about 1895. I don't know what happened to Harvey or who his family was, but Emma later married in Ottumwa, IA in 1903 and divorced in 1905, Charles L. TREMAIN, then married in Ottumwa in 1906, William Strickland SPONSLER. The 1910 census for Ottumwa shows Wm. S. Sponsler, 40, wife Emma, 45, step-daughter Pansy Hartwell, 15.
