Oscar E. Bare appears in the 1910, 1920, and 1930 Federal census for Connewango Township, Caddo county, Oklahoma. The last I can find Olive is in the 1910 Fedeal census. She is living with son Don/Dan C. Bare, aged 29 in Crook County, Wyoming. Based on intuition and available records, I believe that Amos Bare's father was Jacob V. Bare, born Ohio 1825 and died in Agency, Iowa on 28 Apr 1903. *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice. Sometimes there isn't a contact person. I have a lady that has over 1000 obits that her grandmother pasted in an old sears catalog. She shares this with me. I found some obits that people were requesting, but not all the time. I will put in the extra effort to include the persons e-mail if they so want it. I would think that most of the time, they would. I can find only two Walter McCoy names, a father and son, who have lived in Wapello county and, as near as I can tell their information does not match yours. But here goes. Walter McCoy was the son of Jeff C. McCoy a native of Iowa. In the 1910 Federal census Jeff was shown living with his two sons, Walter, aged 20 and Noah, aged 18. Both sons were born in Missouri. There is no wife/mother shown. Walter McCoy married Lottie Boxx on 14 Nov 1913 in Wapello county. I can't find an entry for Walter in the 1920 census. However, in the 1930 census Walter, aged 42, and Lottie, aged 34 are living in Eldon, Iowa with sons Walter, Jr., aged 15; Ralph, aged 12; Eugene, aged 4 11/12; and Claude, aged 6/12. Walter Sr. died on 30 Apr 1955 in Eldon and Lottie died in 1976. *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice. Benson married Amanda M. Bennett on 19 Mar 1899 Thomas Benjamin Benson married Mamie Durkin on 13 Apr 1907. Mary Maud Benson married Arthur E. Leonard on 5 Dec 1900. According to WPA records Thomas B. Benson was born 19 Feb 1890 and died on 13 Jun 1926. He is buried in Calvary Cemetery. There is also a John Benson (born 19 Aug 1883; died 15 Feb 1939) and a Benjamin (1857 - 1927) buried in Calvary. Don't know if there is a realtionship or not. The fact that these Bensons are buried in Calvary would indicate that they were Catholic and that there may be information on the family at one of the two Catholic churches that were in Ottumwa at that time St. Mary's or Sacred Heart. *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice.
