Based on what I can find I'm going to guess W. Frank Musselman, who may have been William Frank Musselman Jr. I base my guess on the following: 1920 Federal census, Center township, Wapello county, Iowa Residence at 334 E. Lincoln Musselman, Elsie, head, aged 30, widow, born Iowa, parents born Iowa Musselman, Mareen(?), dau, aged 9, born Iowa, parents born Iowa Musselman, Marvin, son, aged 3 1/12, born Iowa, parents born Iowa Hudgens, Susie, sister, aged 17, born Iowa Living next door to Elsie are: Musselman, William F., head, aged 61, born Iowa, father born New York, mother born Iowa Musselman, Ella M., wife, aged 54, born Iowa, father born New York, mother born Ohio Parker, Vera M., grand-daughter, born Iowa, parents born Iowa. Wapello county marriage records show: W. Frank Musselman married Elsie E. Hudgens on 23 Sep 1906. I think these are the parents of Mareen. WPA records show a Frank Musselman born 5-12-1884 who died on 10-27-1918 and is buried in Ottumwa cemetery, which all fits. In addition, Wapello marriage records show that Elsie E. Musselman married Cleo R. Hamilton on 18 Feb 1920. The Vera Parker in the 2nd Musselman household is most likely the daughter of Grace N. Musselman and H. N. Parker who were married on 10 Jan 1906. William F. Musselman married Ella M. Bradley on 3 Jun 1883. I was told that Anna C Randall remarried at least twice by my husbands great aunt(b 1911) once to a Hubble and once to possibly a Wilson--She was old enough to remember one wedding (so after 1915) Charlotte found the following for me: Anna C. Randall married David Browdy 04 Jul 1886 Wapello Co. Iowa Ira Hubble & Anna Browdy married 9 Jan 1895 Wapello Co, Iowa In the 1895 Iowa State Census Ottumwa shows the following: Iowa State Census, 1895 Wapello Ottumwa Name: Ira Hubble Age: 42 Race: W Birthplace: U S Name: Annie Hubble Age: 51 Race: W Birthplace: Ohio Name: Elizabeth Randall Age: 14 Race: W Birthplace: Iowa Wapello In Fact I think they were listed twice: Iowa State Census, 1895 Wapello 6th Ward Ottaman Name: Annie C. Do the 1886 or 1895 marriages list parents names? Any clues on what happened to the other children? What happened to David Browdy and Ira Hubble/Hubbell? Crawf Date: 10/18/2003 at 12:57:17 Surnames: COOKSONCOOKSTONCORNELLSPEARS Don't know how much you want about this family, but, I did find some additional information - mostly about the children of Ira Cookston and Elizabeth Pendleton. Blanche Beatrice Cookston was born on 8 Jun 1893 in Iowa (haven't had a chance to check Wapello county records yet) and died on 20 May 1953 in Los Angeles, California. As I indicated previously, she married Rollen W. (Rolla) Cornell on 8 Jun 1906 in Wapello county. Rollen was the son of Seneca Cornell (1858-1939) and Ella Caster. He was born on 31 Aug 1889 in Iowa and died on 9 Jun 1960 in Ventura county, California. As far as I can find, Rollen and Blanche had at least 3 children: 1. Gerald C. Cornell, born 22 Mar 1908 in Iowa and died on 18 Mar 1963 in Los Angeles, California. 2. Florence L. Cornell, born abt 1914 in Michigan 3. Rolla Seneca Cornell, born 26 Oct 1916 in Iowa and died on 2 May 1986 in San Bernadino county, California In the 1930 Federal census for California, Florence and Gerald are living with Ira and Elizabeth. Opal Valentine Cookston was born on 14 Mar 1894 in Indiana and died on 14 Jan 1981 in Los Angeles. Sometime between 1910 and 1920 she married Charles G. Spears. Charles Spears was born on 11 Jul 1891 in Pennsylvania and died on 6 Jul 1943 in Los Angeles. As near as I can find, Opal and Charles did not have any children. There are none listed in either the 1920 or 1930 Federal census. *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice.
