Hello, Rich and Others: I'm new to the list and have joined in hopes that I may find information on an old photograph. I have an old photo of a CANTRIL family, according to the handwriting on the photo's back side. The photo shows a husband and wife, Newton and Annabelle CANTRIL, and whom I presume to be four of their children, identified as Ira, Lutie, Lulu, and Ralph. The photo was taken at a studio in Keosauqua (L.C. Flosnot?), so I am curious whether there's a connection between this family and the town of Cantril, Iowa, in Van Buren County. Would like to hear from anyone with knowledge of this CANTRIL family and/or its possible connection to the town of the same name.
