Ia Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ia/VanBuren/11236 Surname: SCOTT, LYTE, PYLE ------------------------- I am looking for information on Samuel Scott and his wife Susan Lyte (Light) who were married in Van Buren Co IA on October 31, 1843. Samuel was born in Ohio and Susan in Kentucky. I know of only one child, Laura Jane Scott, born Iowa 11/5/1848 and died 6/20/1910 in Washington Co PA. Laura married William Wesly Pyle on June 20, 1868 in Jefferson Co Ohio. Laura's obit says "her parents died when she was young and at the time of her marriage to Mr Pyle she was living in Ohio with an uncle." Any help on this family will certainly be appreciated.
