Thought I'd share with you another example of how we must always be sure to check for variations in spelling when looking for our ancestors. While proof reading the 1870 Village Twp census, the transcriber thought she saw "Daily". The AIS index says "Duly" so I did some further checking. I found this family in 1860 as "Dooley". Then found them again in 1880 as "Duley". So three consecutive census listings, three different spellings.
