The 43 pages of the 1860 Federal Census for Union Twp. Van Buren Co. is now complete thanks to Marian Cox who transcribed this township (and several others) for the Van Buren Co. GenWeb project. I continue to find these very interesting and a good reminder of where we came from. Every so often, a particular entry catches my eye. On page 383 is a 9 year old girl name Mary A Webber, who's mother and father and older brother are listed as born in England. Little Mary is listed as birthplace "Atlantic Ocean".
