Would anyone have records that show who Van Buren County Court Judges were from abt 1837-1860. I have a History of Nebraska clip about my relative Riley Wescoatt, which indicates that Riley's father Joseph Wescoatt removed to Van Buren Co. sometime after 1837 and was "judge of the Van Buren County Court at this time, and had been a ember of the Territorial Legislature at one time." I'd like to find some sort of records that can verify this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
