Nathan Patterson was born in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1840.(I THINK). His wife was Sally Randles from Seiverville, tennessee. Their son was John Quincy Adams Patterson and he lived in Decatur County and Ringgold County, Iowa, and also Missouri in 1860 and 1870. I research Van Buren county for my Kelley and Cole ancesters.
