As Thanksgiving nears, it's a special time to put some thought into things for which we are thankful.   One of the things I appreciate is IAGenWeb and the fact that we offer a web resource tool for family researchers that is high quality and free. In order to make those resources available, we count on volunteers to assist. IAGenWeb has countless volunteers and we are grateful for all they do.   If you are interested in joining our team as a volunteer, there are numerous ways you can contribute.   One way is to volunteer to transcribe records or you could offer to do look ups.  Another way is to become a county coordinator for one of our orphan counties.  Right now, we have 13 counties that are in need of a coordinator.  They are: JONES, JACKSON, SAC, IDA, POWESHIEK, SCOTT, CARROLL, GREENE, LYON, ADAMS, POTTAWATTAMIE, EMMET, and MAHASKA.
