HARLAN -- Frances A. Wigness, 84, Harlan, died Wednesday, Oct. 2 in Harlan. Services will be Saturday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Harlan, with burial in the Harlan Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., with family present from 7-8 p.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan. Wigness is survived by sons Jerald (Linda) Wigness of Harlan and Gordon Wigness of Des Moines; sisters Mena Burmeister and Eleanor Bramer, both of Harlan; brother Raymond Thogerson of Lebanon, Ore.; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
