WAUKON -- Word has been received of the death of Dr. Everette Linn, 84, Waukon,who died Saturday, Oct. 26 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Linn was born in Shelby and graduated from Shelby High School. Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the First Presbyterian Church in Waukon with burial in the Shelby Cemetery. Linn is survived by his wife, Jane, of Waukon; three daughters -- Janet Linn of Sante Fe Springs, Calif., Mary (Tom) Ryan of Washburn and Lisa Linn of Manchester; two sons -- Steven (Patricia) Linn of Solon and John (Kathryn) Linn of Burlington; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers -- Leslie (Grace) Linn of Harlan and Frank (Ann) Linn of Sheffield.
