HARLAN -- Ambrose Anthony Thraen, 89, Harlan, died Thursday, Oct. 10 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital, Harlan. Services were held Monday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Westphalia. Thraen is survived by sons Ron (Linda) Thraen of Harlan and Don (Rosemary) Thraen of Harlan; brother LaVern (Iona) Thraen of Omaha; and sister Josephine Rial of Omaha.
