Mrs. Gaul was a native of Columbus, Miss., and graduated from high school in New Orleans. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Dalton Robertson. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Gaul of Glendale, Ariz.; a daughter, Denise Schoettlin of Glendale, Ariz.; a son, Adam Gaul of San Diego; two grandchildren; her mother, Ruth Coleman of Long Beach; and two brothers, Ronnie Robertson of Columbus and William Robertson of Long Beach. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Earling, Iowa, where burial will follow under the direction of Cutler-O'Neill Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
