HARLAN -- Janice M. Langenfeld, 70, Harlan, died Monday, Oct. 14 in Harlan. Services will be held Friday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Earling. A wake service was held Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Church. Visitation continued Thursday from 2-8:30 p.m. at St. Michael's. Langenfeld is survived by her husband, Owen, of Harlan; daughter Kaleen (Paul) Johnston of Manassas, Va.; sons Phil (Julie) Langenfeld of St. Cloud, Mn., Gene (Nan) Langenfeld of Omaha and Glen (Mary) Langenfeld of Bellevue, Neb.; mother Cecilia M. Gross of Harlan; brothers Jerald (Martha Ann) Gross of Irwin and Ronald (Rita) Gross of Defiance; sisters-in-law Linda Gross and Karen Gross, both of Harlan; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson, nieces and nephews.
