Services were held Monday, Sept. 16 at 11 a.m. at Pauley Funeral Home, Harlan, with burial in the Harlan Cemetery. Davis is survived by her husband, Don, of Harlan; daughters Dixie (Sonny Goans) Gribble of Kirkman, Barb (Kim) Swanson of Harlan, Sandy (Bruce) Markkula of Manilla and Debbie Davis of Wichita, Kan.; sons Jerry (Leah) Davis of Harlan, John (Judy) Davis of Harlan and Jeff Davis of Harlan; brothers Glenn Slining of Silverton, Ore. and Harry (Marlene) Slining, Jr. of Babbitt, Mn.; sisters Janet (Dick) Thorton of Huxley, JoAnn (Irv) Koester of Belmond and Mildred McCree of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
