Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan with burial in the Walnut Cemetery at Walnut. Friends may call from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan. Behrens is survived by four brothers -- Orvis (Florence) of Arnolds Park, Marinus (Gertrude) of Milwaukie, Ore., Calvin (Donna) of Woodburn, Ore. and John Jr. (Jeri) of Port Angeles, Wa.; sister Elvira (Harold) Neuswanger of Woodburn; close friends Dana Kunze of Westside and Troy Suhr of Walnut; nieces and nephews.
