Sue Ellen Sherman officiating. Mr. Anderson died June 3 at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha. He was born Jan. 26, 1951, in Audubon to Lois Winsor and Don Anderson. He graduated in 1969 from Dunlap High School. He worked at IBP, Dubuque and Farmland. In 1970, he began boxing. He trained at the Fox Hole Boxing Club and was coached by Hawk and Wally Jurgenson. In 1972, 1973 and 1974, he won the Midwest Golden Gloves Championship. In 1997, he opened the Fox Hole Bar in Dunlap. Because of illness, he had to close the bar in 1998. Chuck and Glenda Summerfield were together since 1969. Survivors in addition to his wife include one daughter, Patty Weber and husband, Mark, of Omaha; one son, Scott, and wife, Melissa, of Dunlap; mother, Lois Anderson of Dunlap; father, Don Anderson and wife, Vi, of Omaha; five sisters, Kathy Foreman and husband, Chuck, of Taiwan, Sue Feller and husband, Mark, of Denison, Sharon Heffernan and husband, Dan, of Dunlap, Lisa Weber and husband, Tim, of Denison and Judy Meadows and husband, Dave, of Ute; three brothers, Denny Anderson and wife, Darla, of Huntsville, Ala., Steve Anderson and wife, Barb, of Fort Carson, Colo., and Mike Anderson and wife, Geri, of Dunlap; six grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dunlap. (submitted by Vicki King)
