HARLAN -- Arthur R. Andersen, 83, Harlan, died Sunday, Sept. 29 in Harlan. Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery. A prayer service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan. Friends may call Tuesday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Andersen is survived by his wife, Talena, of Harlan; sons Arthur C. (Linda) Andersen of Tulsa, Okla. and Roger (Laurie) Andersen of Atlantic; daughter Linda (Kenneth) Woltmann of Avoca; brother Charles (Marcella) Andersen of Harlan; sisters Arlene (Darwin) Warner of Harlan and Marilyn (Jack) Miles of St. Louis, Mo.; sisters-in-law Phyllis Andersen of Harlan and Elaine Andersen of Kimballton; brother-in-law Floyd (Anne) Williams of Atlantic; five grandchildren -- Julie (Steve) Livingston of Harlan, Tammy (Bruce) Pond of Fort Worth, Texas, Mark (Denise) Woltmann of Long Beach, Calif., Sheri (Alex) Schroeder of Johnston and Allison Andersen of Atlantic; three great-grandchildren -- Holly Stevens, Brandon Pond and Alex Livingston; nieces and nephews.
