EARLING -- Edna C. Finken, 78, Earling, died Sunday, Nov. 10 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital, Harlan. Services will be Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Defiance with burial in the St. Joseph's Cemetery at Earling. A wake service was held Monday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Defiance. Visitation continues Tuesday from 8-11 a.m. at Pauley Funeral Home, Harlan, and from noon-1 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Defiance. Finken is survived by her husband, Charles M. Finken, of Earling; sons Steve (Sharon) Finken of Harlan, Alan (Donnelle) Finken of Littleton, Co., Rich Finken of Earling, Dave (Cindy) Finken of Papillion, Neb., Mark Finken of Earling, Peter (Kara) Finken of Simsbury, Ct. and Paul (Jackie) Finken of Ft. Leavenworth, Kan.; daughters Jean (Alex) Pruitt of Spencer and Joan (Jim) Henscheid of Des Moines; sister Virginia Muelleman of Omaha; brothers Leo (Ann) Fromm of Marshalltown and Peter (Therese) Fromm, Jr. of Defiance; 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
