HARLAN -- Irene C. Ehlers Jacobsen, 88, Harlan, formerly of Walnut, Minden and Avoca, died December 14 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital. Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Knutson Funeral Chapel in Avoca with burial in the Minden Cemetery. Jacobsen is survived by her niece, Sharon Mangiameli, of Fountain, Co.; nephews George Kardell of Dallas, Texas and Derald (Darlene) Schuning of Harlan; many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
