HARLAN -- Douglas Zumwalt, 44, Harlan, died Tuesday, Jan. 10. Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Lincoln Township. Family will greet friends Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 2-4 p.m. at the church. Zumwalt is survived by his wife, Liga, of Latvia; daughter Valerie Headrick of Bloomingdale, Ga.; sisters Ronda Schmidt of Elkhorn, Neb., Bonnie Timberlake of Oregon and Debbie Zumwalt of Omaha; and brother Jim Zumwalt of Norfolk, Neb.
