She died Thursday, October 6, 2005 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., at 32. Tricia was born in Denison, Iowa and received her education in the Denison schools, graduating with the class of 1991. After graduation, she attended Xenon School of Cosmetology in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated in 1992. She was employed in Iowa, Amarillo, Texas and in Omaha. She was a very loving and caring daughter, granddaughter, and friend who was always willing to help anyone that needed her. In her spare time, Tricia enjoyed making jewelry, riding horses, and participating in Horse Shows. She also spent much of her time with her best friend, her chocolate lab, Bruiser. She was preceded in death by her father, David Littleton; her sister, Debbie Pineda, her maternal grandfather, Ralph Spencer; and her paternal grandfather, Rex Littleton. She is survived by her parents, Joan Littleton and Mike Petersen of Denison; her stepmother, Diana Maulsby and her husband, Mark of Denison; one brother, Jerod Petersen and his wife, Kim of Schleswig; and one sister, Keri Winsick and her husband, Glenn of Bellevue, Nebraska; her maternal grandmother, Pat Nutt of Dunlap; and her paternal grandmother, Irene Littleton of Denison; many loving aunts and uncles; other relatives and many, many friends. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 10, 2005 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, Iowa. Rev. Kurt Kaiser and Rev. David Sewing officiated the service and grave side rites held at the Morgan Cemetery in Schleswig, Iowa. Karen Kahl provided the organ accompaniment for congregational hymns "How Great Thou Art", "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me". The family invited everyone in attendance at the service to join them in fellowship and lunch at the church, served by the Dorcas Society. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of arrangements.
