She was born in Earling. She moved to Westphalia in 1941. She farmed with her husband, East of Westphalia over 40 years. She was a member of St.Boniface Catholic church. Her husband, Elmer Schneider, preceded Mrs. Schneider in death on Dec. 28, 1984. Survivors include daughters, Debra Rose and husband, Clair, of Council Bluffs, Diane Freytez and husband, Angel, of Omaha, Neb.; son, Daryl Schneider and wife, Joy, of Denison, Dean Schneider and wife, Joan, of Maryville, Mo.; sister, Marie Ebert, of El Paso, Texas; brother Ivo Finken and wife, Mildred "Mick", of Earling; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. John Dorton officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery in Westphalia.
