COUNCIL BLUFFS -- Duane L. French, 86, Council Bluffs, died October 1 at the Midland Living Center. Services were held Monday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with inurnment at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Earling. French is survived by his wife, Carol (Schwarte) French; son Stephen; daughters Donna Reichart, Darlene Steward and Robbin Evans; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister Ruth Elaine Kennedy.
