Survivors include parents, Julie and Monte Schechinger, of Westphalia; brother, Brayton Joseph Schechinger, of Westphalia; grandparents, Callie McDermott and husband, Jed, of Neola and Dorothy Schechinger of Westphalia; great grandparents, Mary and Tom Martin, of Council Bluffs. Services were Friday, September 30, 2005 at 3 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Hoefler officiating. Burial was in St. Boniface in Westphalia.
