She was born in Omaha, Neb., to Michael and Frances (Swip) Urkevich and graduated from South High School in 1954. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gigi Urkevich; and brother, Michael Urkevich, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Loren "Dick" Cooper; son, Mike Cooper and wife, Pam of Millard, Neb., Dave Cooper and wife, Dawn, of Alexandria, Minn., Dan Cooper and wife, Tammy and Ray Cooper and wife, Bonnie both of Council Bluffs; daughter, Mary Cooper, of Sioux City; 15 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; sister, Delores Urkevich, of Omaha, Neb.; brothers, Robert "Sonny" Urkevich, of Omaha, Neb., and Jerry Urkevich and wife, Mary, of Bellevue, Neb.; nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the church, Father David Fleming, Celebrant. Burial will be in Garner Township Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the church. Memorials may be offered to Family Wishes.
