Arrick ©Daily Nonpareil - posted with permission 04/27/2006 Emmett R. Arrick, 77, of Persia, Iowa, passed away April 26, 2006, at Harlan, Iowa Medical Center. Emmett was born Feb.17, 1929, in Council Bluffs to the late John and Grace (Moore) Arrick. He was a farmer in the Persia area for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Arrick in 1985; one sister; and one brother. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth (Wager) Arrick; daughters, Linda Arrick, amd Jan Arrick all of Persia, Nancy Bird and husband Mike, of Harlan; son, Randy Arrick, of Persia; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, George Arrick, of Houston, Texas; nieces and nephews. Visitation with the Family will be Friday from 6-8 p.m.at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the mortuary with Rev. Harry Wallar officiating. Interment Valley View Cemetery, Persia. Memorials to the family preferred.
