Also would anyone know how I can go about finding what cemetery my great grandfather is buried in -- I couldn't find his obituary but his wifes obituary had the Rev, J.M. Hamford of the Evangelical church giving the ceremony didn't give a cemetery. I'm sure it is Harlan because my aunt remembers visiting it but is too old to remember where it is. We did check the big cemetery in Harlan but they aren't there. The name would be William Ernest Henry Rethmeier died 11-1-1884 his wife who remarried but I'm sure she would have been buried beside him her name was Johannes Gorichs "Rethmeier Schwab. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
