Since I posted this message along with other more detailed messages, I've received a wealth of info on my ancestors. In fact, I know exactly where they came from in Germany. I did a search through the family trees I received, looking for a Wilhelm F. Klein, with no matches. Feel free to send me more info, and perhaps I might find a relationship.
