Cecile was born in Underwood. She was married in 1930 to Marvin Chris Johnson. She was a homemaker. She is survived by daughters, Bernice Baldauf and husband Ralf of Omaha, Mildred Miller and husband Bob of Atlantic, Ia., Mary Jane Peterson and husband Keith of Shelby, Ia., Eileen Killpack and husband Frank of Neola, Ia., and daughter-in-law Marlene Johnson of Persia, Ia.; 25 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 14 great, great-grandchildren. Open visitation is at Pauley Jones Funeral Home, Harlan, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 1. Family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Prayer service at 7 p.m. Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, September 2 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Persia, Ia., with Pastor Duane Annunson officiating. Burial is Sept. 2 at Valley View Cemetery, Persia, Ia.
